Btw the cliches I threw in about the showers etc were to do with character building, footballers today get given everything on a plate, if only they knew how the other half lived, they might be in the papers for the right reasons  |
But being 14 do you really want him playing first team football? He's still only a kid and still learning, the best place to learn is in an academy with top coaches, then going out on loan when you 17/18/19 to play first team football. Some of the best players around came through the academies of United, West Ham etc.
