Ok you can't see how it is better to be playing first team football as opposed to kids football? Why do clubs send kids out on loan then? People probably said the same about Trevor Sinclair when he turned Man U down for Blackpool but then by the time he was 20 and ready to move to a Premier League club he had over 200 appearances under his belt, compare that to Jermain Pennant, 15 or 16 and in the Notts C first team, moves to Arsenal and isn't heard of again for years, I am sure he agrees it did his development a lot of good

Btw the cliches I threw in about the showers etc were to do with character building, footballers today get given everything on a plate, if only they knew how the other half lived, they might be in the papers for the right reasons
