I got as far as making a menu. It's not much to look at but I was dead chuffed because I had understood what I was doing.

Off topic. My project for tonight has been figuring out how to record 'listen again' BBC radio programmes. It's took me all night googling but I've got it done.
"Not clever".......lol
I ended up with devede purely because tovid was just a bit much at the time. What does that say about me

Avidemux is another one but i just ended up using devede because it got the job done without having to know too much about dvd encoding at that particular time. Not that i know too much more now mind you.
I can make my iso`s in the terminal with one command(no added software) but i try and avoid having to encode stuff.I treat it much the same as i do downloading if i have to do it at all.....
It gets done overnight....when i`m sleeping

No dreaded encoding for now though, till the next time i make a mess of the TVout anyway.
I might to try MythTv soon so i`ll probably manage it then.
