Yeah, it's changed quite a lot, I get at least 250-300 pictures with my finepix s6500.

Wooly One: if your considering a camera with a battery pack as opposed to one that takes normal AA batteries, remember that a spare battery pack will probably cost more than just buying a 4/8 AA's.
