the whole what tv shall u get and whats best lcd/plasma etc is complicated and you need to look into it and understand it all...

that being said u only want to spend 600 quid as thats the case i wouldnt worry about anything and get what u feel like it wont matter what u get either full hd or hd reader as u wont (i expect) be watching any HD content on it as someone that spends 600 quid on a tv probably wont spend 300 quid on a HD player etc...

so in short get what u can for the money what ever u buy will be out of date when its delivered. If i was u i would look at getting one of the older sony models.

Personaly i wouldnt spend less than £1300 on a TV and will probably wait for the whole 120MHz / LED backlit LCD's thing to be mainstream.
