Netgear DG834GT + Linksys WRT54GL + IP's

Hello all,

I have a basic understanding of networking, but I have a problem and I feel a bit out of my depth.

I have Sky broadband installed downstairs in the living room and the Sky router (Netgear DG834GT) connects to my Mac upstairs in my room via another router (Linksys WRT54GL). It sounds a bit convoluted I know (a long story), but it works and very well, too.

When I log in to the admin panel on the Linksys it says my "LAN Server IP address" is 192.168.0.x, and this is the address I type into the appropriate box when setting up my firewall rules on the Netgear. But...this address changes every now and again, meaning I have to change my firewall rules on the Netgear every time it does.

Is there any way I can keep this address static? I don't even know which router's settings I would need to change. The Linksys is running DD-WRT firmware if that helps at all.

Thanks,

-Kev
