I installed Ubuntu on an old machine about a month ago. The install asked me 5 questions and about 45 minutes later I logged in, fired up Firefox and started browsing.

Then a couple of weeks ago I updated to a new version. It took about half an hour to download - even on VM

- and about an hour to install and voila.
