If you're not using the router during the night when you're in bed (assuming you're not a vampire ) try switching it off until it's needed then see how long it takes before it starts losing connection after you switch it on again and if the unit or power supply feels particularly hot.

Are you doing torrents? could also be that your router doesn't like shifting lots of data across lots of connections.
