Oh yes absolutely..! One of Proffesor Eric Laithwaite's inventions, the Linear Motor (AKA) the Maglev - british ingenuity, the ultimate in rapid, clean, quiet and eco friendly transportation. It's just a crying shame that the (short sighted) government (as usual) failed to support the concept - which has (alas) now gone abroad to countries with more foresight, sigh.....!
