Thats the trouble with many aspects of Linux it seems......people spend only 5 minutes trying something out before writing it off as useless or unstable 
Of course though, most of the compiz-fusion plugins are nothing but fancy bells & pointless whistles there are actually some very useful plugins too but you have to spend a wee bit longer than 5 min`s discovering them,as well as all their best settings.
We`ve had compiz around in it`s various guises since last August on numerous pc`s and never had any real problems with stabilty.Had issues with Emerald in Gutsy at first(3 months ago) but never really CF itself. |
sorting out the compiz settings.etc one of those things that I've put on the old to-do list, Problem is other things keep making their way onto the list above it
