I think you may have a bit of a mess to sort out here.

truck.exe implies that an ntl or Virgin Media installation disk has been run on the PC. That is probably telling your PC it want's to connect direct to the modem, not via a router. You may be able to delete those settings if you look in Windows Control Panel, add / remove programs. Unless you are connecting to the modem via USB you don't need the ntl / Virgin Media install disks.

You cannot have two devices on the same network using the same IP address. That is just going to throw a wobbly. On the computer, go into network connections, and the specific network card properties. Make sure that the IP and DNS are all set to auto. The router should allocate an IP to the computer. Similarly the Xbox, should have an auto IP.
