Well I'm 700m from my exchange have been teetering for a while. This news, £40.00 down to £22.00 for BE Pro, has tipped me over the edge.
All weekend my £37.00pm "20meg" VM conn has been struggling to PEAK at 9meg, no matter what time it is and how many connections I have open. I tried to look at a Youtube vid from a link I was sent, experience with VM has taught me to open them in a new window
but even so I kept checking back and it was minutes before the page opened and further minutes while the vid buffered. Pah!! £37.00pm for that kinda carp, STM and premium rate So-called support.............
[Insert the F-word] it!! I'm off to BE if my ancient BT copper will allow it.
I've been over 10 years with Cable in all it's various incarnations and it's taken a rebrand to Virgin Mediocre to drive me away. Not only are they just too carp but they are now diabolically overpriced, to say nothing about rediculously low upload speeds. Not that I am unduly bothered about that as I don't make web-sites or use Torrents very often.
