Hi All

I am new to the site I found you trying to get information on setting up my router.

I have the Dyamode BR-6004 W-G1 802.11 Wireless AP Router. I have followed the instalation guide both with and without the USB but I still have the same difficulty which is I am unable to access the internet. Last night I had the wireless showing as green I was able to access the configuration unit and it said connected and I was able to log in to the 198.168.1 and enter the details I was told to on the manual.

I have also had it showing not only on my pc but also on my daughters lap top, it is showing as default network unsecured it lets me connect to it but again I get the 'this page can not be displayed' message.

I am at the point now where I am thinking of getting someone out but I really don't want to have to pay around Ã‚Â£50 just for someone to come and configure it if it could be done by me with your help

I would really appreciate any suggestions.

P.S Both PC and laptop is windows xp and the laptop has a wireless connection however the main pc doesn't.

Sorry forgot to mention currently I have a wired network set up on the main pc, and this still shows as connected when the wireless one is (not sure if that was relevant)
