hey meant to get back to you sooner, i've realised that im goin to have to have a router at least while im going through the process of sortin out my ethernet problem for the only reason that it'll only solve half the problem if i get the ethernet sorted
the main outcome of this is to get my laptop wireless but as the port im using at the mo to link the two machines together will be taken up, it'll cause problems ie no net for melol. jus thought id let you guys know that, as i was gonna get on with it today and that occured to me. anyway im now askin which would be the best router and wireless card to buy so that i can get on with tacklin the whole problem at the same time. i was thinkin of buyin the router that was shown further up in this thread and was thinkin of play it safe and going for the same company when buyin the card for my laptop. i find this-->

thing to consider: im lookin to buy an xbox in the near future too and have heard quite a few people havin router compatibility problems, which was why im lookin to buy the linksys router as i know that works but i dont wanna pay extra for extra peace of mind when you give me enough for freelol i dont mind payin that couple of extra pounds though for a much better card.
