Make sure the wireless router is connected by one of its LAN ports (not the WAN port) to the Linksys.
Also make sure that the IP address you have assigned it is not in the range given out by the DHCP server on the Linksys.

I have a similar setup but with different brands to yours.

One potential problem is that the wireless router isn't forwarding DHCP requests properly. You could try setting fixed IP addresses on the client machines (I didn't need to with my setup).
