I am setting up a wireless network for a friend but I am no expert so I want to get it right first time. I have done a bit of research and decided on Linksys stuff, I need a wired/wireless router near the desktop (hardwired) and a wireless PCMCIA card for her laptop, they need to share a printer but if the desktop is switched off will the laptop be able to print or do I need to buy a printserver router or a seperate printerserver box connected to the router, am a bit confused tbh
