Thanks for the answers guys - seems like a very technical issue - perhaps I'd be better off buying him a few back issues of Razzle & Readers wives?

I suppose I could simplify things by just creating a home network, adding him and allowing him to share?

If I do that would it be possible for him to run Counter Strike on his PC upstairs via my machine downstairs if you know what I mean ('cause I certainly don't).
