Hello,

I have bought a house with 4 bedrooms and a person is going to be living in each one. i want each bedroom to be able to connect more than one device to the network at the same time.

What i have is a router connected to the internet, then this router connects to a switch. A crossover cable then connects Each room to this switch where the person in the room will then connect another switch to the other end and so connect there devices into there own little switch they have in there room.

***My question is, am i correct in using a crossover Ethernet cable to connect these two switches together? Will connecting the rooms together like this be ok or would there of been a better way to do it?
