I'm not sure anyone could be confident they'd got away with anything at this early stage in the legal proceedings.

Well that smallish proportion of the British population who buy the tabloid papers may be but, given the trash most of these rags contain, many of these people clearly do so no matter what's inside. Maybe they just like the pictures...
