There's nothing wrong with liquid cooling - when it's done properly - which he's not doing. What you're supposed to do with a self-built system [as opposed to those ready-made/pre-filled systems] is fill it up either outside the case, or in the case but with all the things like mobo, graphics card, etc removed, & then do a leak test [leave it running for a few hours to see if it leaks]. The 1 thing you don't do is power up the whole system until the cooling system is filled & you've got all of the air out of the system. Anyone with any sense would have disconnected the PSU from the motherboard & shorted the necessary pins on the PSU to make it start up, so as to run the cooling system without powering the mobo & CPU [or used a spare PSU, if they had 1, to power the pump]. The reason I said about having the sound on is you can hear he's actually powering the whole system up [you can hear the POST beep], & towards the end of the video, when he leaves it on longer, you can hear multiple beeps which is probably the motherboard's CPU temperature alarm. With the amount of air you can see still in the system, there's a good chance there's probably some still trapped in the CPU block, which can seriously reduce the effectiveness of a liquid cooling system. Basically, he's risking frying his CPU.
