I find the cds have a tendacy to skip when played back on the cd player in the van (haven't tried them anywhere else since thats all i really wanted them for since my own car has an MP3 compatable HeadUnit in so I usually burn data discs instead which I never really get any problems with.)
the van is a vaxhaull combo and it has the stock cd30 cd player in it which of course being a company van I can't exactly replace with anything better.
I was thinking of using something like winamp and burning slower this time but are there any pointers for doing it so that you don't get annoying skips and blips during playback.

If you're using Windows I can highly recommend
Feurio.
Never had a problem with tracks skipping (in a car anyway)...
