I'd give them the notice that you intend to terminate the contract at the end of the period.
They will offer you a much better deal if you threaten to leave them! As they would rather give you a good deal than not have your custom at all!

About a year ago my sister did that to vodaphone and they gave her a new phone, more minutes & text for £10 less a month!

I'm currently with three and aside from them unable to get my addresses correct in there database (its ok when viewed online and bills et all work fine) they're good. My deal is better than any they offer at the moment (its £5 /month more for the exact same contract)

You are pushing the bottom end of the contract range, would a payg phone with the £10/month min top ups offer you a better deal ? (they throw in mins / txts if you agree to top up at least once a month)
