Nah the laptop was not mine I was only giving him a second opinion since the pc shop he took it too first time basically wanted to shaft him for Ã‚Â£150 for a new motherboard and we thought they may have been taking the proverbial pish.

Sadly nothing can be done apart from a whole new motherboard.
