No, Im not sure its the circuit board that's cooking, before I dropped that fan in I powered it down and went to move the drives out the way and the bottom one was so hot i could hardly pick it up.

I supsect its the heat generated by the Drives thats causing the problems (they are a couple of maxtor dm9's from my old pc and they seem to generate a fair amount of heat)
