Virgin Media is absolutely awful, mainly as all they provide is what Sky tell them they are allowed to provide, they play second fiddle to Sky, and you wont always get the channels you want.

Steer WELL clear of it.

I had a salesman at my door the other day who said "Hello im here to interest you in Virgin Media" and i said "Ive got Sky mate" to which he just gave up, turned around and walked away.

Steer as far clear of Virgin Media as you can, its an absolute waste.

I personally hated Virgin Media. They kept changing the layout of the screen (the channel thing that comes up!) It seemed really slow to change channel as well. The internet was unreliable and the customer service was poor. That aside, it's really good and I hear that certain packages come with free Setanta Sports for the season!

Don't get it, it's ********. No Sky One, Sky Sports News, and it looks horrible too. Black and Yellow.

The internet I'm on is crap, the customer service is **** (oh, we can't fix it, gutted), and if you get wireless, expect to be cut off every 10 minutes and keep having to reset your router.

The internet and phone for me is ok. The telly is crap though. A lot of channels always start flickering if you know what i mean. You will often get blank screens. The TV info doesn't work. The interactive screen is very slow.

And as Obscura said, the Sky premium channels have been switched off.

well ntl was taken over by vigin media.. and thats what i have at my dads! and its ok i suppose! **** channels.. internet is ok but phone is ****!
