Sir Richard Branson left James Murdoch, his opposite number at BSKYB James, Rooted firmly to the spot as his Virgin Media scored a deal with Irish pay-tv group Setanta that allows it to show live premiership football for free.
Subscribers to Virgin Medias XL basic TV package will later this month get access to six of Setantas sports channels for no extra charge.

This is fantastic news, as i also believe that Prem Plus will no longer be an additional cost subscription channel (i think it's no longer available next season)
Some good news at last for the recently problematic V+ Platform.
