Posting this because yet again I am disgusted at how incredibly slow Youtube is on my VM (supposedly) 10Mb connection.
At my friends house, he can buffer a 10 minute video in 2 minutes or so on a 1Mb AOL connection, yet on my 10Mb it takes almost 20 minutes?! (timed: 19 minutes 57 seconds to load a 9 minute 23 second video)
Since the time it takes to buffer the whole video is greater than the length of the actual video, I have to load the page and pause the video for a bit while I wait for it to buffer enough so that I can watch it the whole way through without it stopping and starting.
So what the hell is VM's problem?
