Don't you just love remote diagnosis. A challenge not to be ignored.

As you can't connect from your PC to the Linksys, then the wizzard can't configure the router. It has to do that to detect and set the connection type of the WAN (Internet) port. That's the problem that needs sorting first.

Ideas - Firewall? <end of ideas>

If you are using ZoneAlarm then the router need to be added to the trusted zone. You will also need to add the CM to the trusted zone so you can logon to it eventually.
