Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone could help me out with some advice...
I am installing a Netgear router/AP to a friends Virgin Media cable box. I have set up the same router on someone elses VM box and it worked fine.
This time though there is a problem. After i configure the router (it has it;s own DHCP addy gotten from VM), i can ping any site that i need to (
www.google.com for eg.), but IE just *won't* go to any site at all!
I have tried every site i can think of, but IE just doesn't seem to get a connection, even though i can ping addresses fine in a command shell.
Would this be a VM problem, a router problem or IE problem?
Has anyone heard of this before? When i visit my friend again, i plan to take an install of Firefox, just in case.
Please help!
