I'm not after the 'fastest' BB service anymore. I finally gave up on the fastest Virgin have to offer after years of being with NTL and C&W before them, and dropped to the lowest speed. Got tech services coming round Friday (my BB knocks off twice a week for a day or more each time) but I'm more or less resigned to finding another provider. Speed not an issue, reliability is.
So what do we think of Sky Broadband, Bethere, or any of the others? I tried Plusnet a while back (whilst still running NTL as well - lots of BB services into the house for that year
) so won't be going back to them (they said 8mb, gave me just over 2mb).
I'd better get looking about on the i/net for another provider whilst I still can - no telling when the service will drop off again
