i have had 2 linksys router's die on me in the past. This was overheating due to paper being strewn all over the routers or one client decided to 'tuck it under the sofa' not the manufacturers.
dlink are good by the way, i use the dl-624 and have been for 2 years! - installed the latest draft n netgear routers in a few places (for some reason that is what mother superior orders...) but no problems here
