no it wont take weeks, a few minutes for 55megaBytes.

it doesnt, so just get yourself a good FTP client ,windows/total comander is a good commercial file manager with FTP included, ro any of the free ones around.

another option , just go and check the size of your local backup of the personal VM website, you DO have a local backup dont you?.... and keep a check that way....

OR, you can even run your own web server on your machine and redirect all or some of the content off the VM side web server to your local machine storage if you can be bothered to read up on it.

or just go get some real payed for webspace that actually allows a CGI bin,as vm dont even do that,Now That Is something VM should do and allow.
