If you are using the 4200 modem same as me, it doesn't give you this info. Just do a broadband speed test to check the connection speed.
Either use this free program

Or just go to
http://gamefiles.virginmedia.com/blueyondergames/utils/ Then right click on 3DMark03.exe and "Save Target as" to see how fast the file downloads. Then either cancel the download or delete the file when finished
