Re: Identity

Had a similar problem while trying to open a business bank account. I don't have a passport or drivers licence so it became tricky. The ONLY other thing on their list of acceptable ID's is a UK HM Revenues & Customs Tax Notification form showing a 10 digit Tax ID... Now, I phoned the tax office up to ask if they could send me one. They said yes... BUT that I'd have to request it in writing. Sigh. So, I've written to the tax office, but have not heard anything back yet

It's daft how that because I don't have a drivers licence or passport I am struggling to prove who I am.
