i am using a belkin router for a desktop and a laptop the router is connected to the desktop and the laptop is via wireless.for a number of months i have had problems with speed drop on the laptop after many calls to vm they then sent a modem box to connect up.they said that this would solve the problem.for3 days no problems then back to slow speed.status connected strength excellent speed dropping from 54mbps down to 24mbps and keeps saying page cannot be displayed. is it worth moving the router into the lounge nearer the laptop or do i maby need a better router
we are beginners and cant understand all the techie stuff
