Hello, i have read lots of threads on here which seem to have the same problem as i have, but i still dont seem to be able to get the answer so i thought i would ask it here.

i have VM broadband which was 10 meg and now its 20 meg. i use a laptop always with wireless connection with a belkin 802 g router and internal card in the computer and the windows network speed says 54megbit etc. the max speed i get is only 7meg on but with wire i get up 18meg.

i basically just want to know i i go and buy the belkin N router and N usb card for the laptop will it for sure run at the full speed like the wired connection.

I just wanted to make sure because it costs about Ã‚Â£170 which is alot. its just really annoyed to pay and get 20 meg but wireless only gives 7. thanks alot fr any help or advice.
