Can't connect to digital banking site.

Just had a worrying time with Indian help call centre. Think my problem is solved now, but has anyone else had same problem.

Couldn't connect to my main online banking site, although could connect to another bank site and all other web sites I tried. Phoned bank helpline and was told this was a known problem with Virgin and to contact them.

Girl in Virgin's Indian call centre was very difficult to understand and she obviously couldn't understand me - seemed to have no idea of the problem and was leading me through steps in tools - internet options - connections, going on to setting up an internet connection. I gave up at this point as it didn't seem to be the answer to problem and I was having so much difficulty understanding her.

Anyway, phoned back later and got guy whom I could understand and who seemed aware of the problem. He explained that technicians were working on some Bank website connections, but couldn't say how long this would take.

Seems to answer my question, but has anyone else had this difficulty today?

Just noticed the Nat West thread further down forum. Seems to be the same problem, but my bank is Royal Bank of Scotland.
