Re: connecting modem to xbox 360 problems

How do you normally connect the modem to the PC? USB or ethernet?

What are the 360's network settings? (in the System Blade).

Everything should be on automatic... IP address & DNS.

When you turn the modem off, how long do you leave it off for?

Have you tried cloning the PC's MAC address onto the 360?

Is your 360 modded in any way (e.g. modified DVD drive firmware to enable playing "backups") - if so, then MS have probably banned your machine from Xbox Live.
