You can also use a free utility called WS-FTP95

It lets you see your files on your computer on one side, and your webspace on the other so that you can easily drag any file accross to your webspace.
You will need your ntl username and password.
For the hostname/address type: upload.ntlworld.com
So if you put on to your webspace a page made in MSword for example and you saved it as index.html you would go to
http://homepage.ntlworld.com/yourusername and it would display your site.
You can also create folders and add other files. Eg. making a folder called photos and adding a picture called house.jpg
