With some BT routers you can get to the interface via the IP address of your default gateway (like 192.168.0.254).

When you put the IP address into your web browser you can see the basic settings (username and internal LAN IP addressing).

Don't know if it will work with your router, but it does with some, when you get a fault you are often asked to change your username to "bt_test@startup_domain" so it should be possible to see your username...
