ok, I am ashamed but I have to admit a severe lack of computering knowledge bar just doing the usual things!
Erm, Atheros Super G Total 802,11 (according to the logo), by router do you mean the livebox? This is from Orange and has a WEP key (that I already connect to wirelessly with my laptop with no problems).
God I'm even struggling to explain my problem...
I'll understand if its too much of a chore to help me
