Ah well, there's the problem, she
thinks she has but I'm not sure.
She has been on NTL for a number of years but before that did have a BT phone so there could be both BT and NTL phone sockets fitted.
The phone socket being used for the PC is an extension in the bedroom which makes life a little difficult in tracing back to where it connects to the main phone socket.
Guess I could ring 151 and see which fault company answers
