Evening disconnects, what to say to engineer?
Ok for maybe 4 months I have been having 6 disconnection each evening, lasting anything from 5 seconds to sometimes as long as 20 minutes. I'm in the SA2 area of Swansea.
If I'm downloading, my utorrent graphs will drop to zero, and then begin to pickup again once I reconnect. Msn messenger, will say I'm offline. If I'm just browsing, I will get page not found, or "server is taking too long to respond". And worst of all, Warcraft will disconnect me from the server.
The sync and ready light always remain on. The send light will flicker occasionally. Upon reconnect, the send/rec lights will flash again. It's almost as if data isn't being sent to my CM.
I have the fifth engineer out to help sort this out next Tuesday. They really don't have any idea whats going on, and tell me to get back to CS if theres a problem. CS send out clueless engineers. I'm just going around in circles. I really don't want to have to cancel, and move to Sky, but I don't think this is going to get fixed.
What do I say to the engineer when he comes out? Does anybody have a clue what might be causing this to happen?
