Yes it is a disgrace
Spurs club secretary John Alexander said: "We know one disabled fan was hit with a baton with such force that it knocked him out of his wheelchair."
"Our initial reports suggest there was no fan-to-fan fighting at any stage of the proceedings," said a club statement.
"It had been a perfect day up to then but was spoilt by some over-zealous police officers, who started throwing their weight around, for want of a better term," said Daniel Wynne, of Tottenham Hotspur Supporters' Trust.
"After the penalty, a couple of fans got a bit excited about that but nothing more than shouting at the pitch. There was no violence. "Spurs fans weren't causing any trouble. The police went over and above acting as stewards."

And to cap it all the fool from UEFA comes out with
Uefa has launched investigations into both flashpoints, but communications director William Gaillard said possible sanctions for any of the clubs involved had not been discussed.
He should have said nothing until the investigation had been concluded because from what I've seen and read there was absolutely no justification for the police behaviour, if anything English fan's should boycott European games until they can control their police and if they dare say anything we can kick up a fuss about the state of their stadiums, if they are safe why the heck do we bother maintaining ours to the level we do, when it seems
perfectly acceptable for fans to sit (if they are lucky) in a ramshackle, derelict, flea pit?

There's more
“
In England, you get arrested or ejected for bad behaviour. In Italy, you get beaten up.
“I watched those pictures with horror because I seriously feared someone was going to get killed the way they were being hit with batons. Police looked like they were enjoying it.” David Platt
“It is just not right. Fans go there to enjoy a match and get beaten up by the very people who are supposed to be protecting them.” Former top-level ref Anders Frisk
Yet where were the police when this happened
Middlesbrough fans were not surprised by the violent scenes in Rome though. Three Boro supporters were stabbed in the build- up to their UEFA Cup tie at the Olympic Stadium in March last year.
If even half of this is true then it's a scandal, obviously it will be brushed under the carpet, nobody ever speaks up for the fans, that why stuff like this keeps happening
