Re: Poor picture quality & card problems (Standard VBox)

Hey,

Yup it was the baseline IQ straight off the bat. I've tried resetting box, leaving it with no power etc. Surely that isn't normal quality it looks like a poorly encoded DivX to be honest! I have a new-looking VM-branded Samsung SMT-2110C (but still with an old NTL Smartcard?!). I tried changing to RBG but it made no difference whatsoever. Although maybe that SCART input on my TV doesn't support RGB? I'll go and check now!

Cheers,

Suman

Ah well that solved it... only one of the SCARTs on my TV supports RGB and the VBox looked pretty superb when connected via it. However, that socket belongs to my DVD player!

Oh well, I've been looking for an excuse to get a new HDMI-upscaling Pioneer DVD player...

Thanks for the help guys!
