Have you received a letter from Davenport Lyons or ACS?
During March I received a letter from Davenport Lyons, stating that they had obtained my address details and name from VM (via court order). Secondly they stated that they had "proof" that I had downloaded and shared (via P2P) a pinball game belonging to a German company (actually American) during Oct 2006. They stated that if I sent £350 (£49 covers the cost for VM to provide the personal details) and filling in a form admitting I had done it, they would not take me to court. Reading various forums I have found out that this has happened to 100's if not 1000's of people in the UK, hence why I am starting this thread, to see what experiances they have had with this issue.
