Commenting on the confirmation of the Elite, Peter Moore stated; "Today’s games and entertainment enthusiast has an insatiable appetite for digital high-definition content. Xbox 360 Elite’s larger hard drive and premium accessories will allow our community to enjoy all that the next generation of entertainment has to offer.†And priced initially at $479.99 (approx. £245), sampling all that hi-def goodness won't break the bank. So long as you don't already own an Xbox 360...
Ahem.
The full list of components and accessories inside the new Elite bundle are:
Xbox 360 Elite console (black)
Xbox 360 120GB hard drive
Xbox 360 Wireless Controller (black)
Xbox 360 headset (black)
Xbox 360 HDMI cable
Xbox LIVE Silver Membership
One-month subscription to Xbox LIVE Gold
Of course, if you don't want to pay out for a new machine but could do with a bit extra up top (so to speak) the 120GB hard drive will also be sold separately for a cost of $179.99 (approx. £92).
The Xbox 360 Elite is scheduled to hit retail shelves Stateside from April 29, but as of yet there are no confirmed details on a Euro release or prospective price plan.
