Sorry if this has been posted before but i couldnt find it.

I have a 10mb virgin media connection and play xbox live using windows internet connection sharing. On the connection setting i have a moderate NAT and from what i have read online it's usually caused by settings on my router? I use the NTL250 modem. Is there any way to sort this without buying a new router.
