I'm waiting for a V+ installation to happen in a couple of weeks and was going to buy a Component to VGA cable to pass the video to a Toshiba projector (TDP TW 90) which will accept component through the vga connections.

From what I've read above this means that copy protected hd content won't be viewable - is that right?

Also will the quality be worse than it would from the HDMI connection with a converter (the cost of which is significantly more than a cable - about Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£150 upwards, I think)?

The component/vga connection on the projector has the usual HD resolutions (720p/1080i) so I would have thought the quality would be okay.

I was just about to get a componet to vga cable but might have to rethink if it will limit what I can watch.
