Im sure there are a few threads out there relating to this - I have searched - alas to no avail!!

Anyhow, we have a Samsung STB 2110C. This was a replacement for a PACE 4001 - which was long overdue.

I have noticed something a little annoying though!!

Say, for example, I am on BBC1 or ITV and the "Red Spot" appears in the top right hand corner of the screen. With the PACE STB, all we had to do was press the BACK button, and this would disappear. Unfortunately, when you do this with the Samsung, the channel goes back to the last one viewed.

Does anyone know if it is possible to get rid of the annoying red dot??

Its particularly annoying on ITV because the spot doesnt disappear after a certain amout of time like on BBC

ANY advice is gratefully received!!
